CrockPot Honey BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Crockpot Pulled Pork Sliders Main Ok, this is a crazy good recipe for Slow Cooker Honey BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders and it is so simple!  If your family loves pulled pork, you will have to try it this way.  This is basically one of those recipes that you throw all of your ingredients in the crock pot and walk away.  The crock pot is doing all the work for you.  When you come back from doing whatever it is that keeps you busy, throw some Honey & BBQ sauce and dinner is served!

The best way to cook this pork roast is low and slow.  Cooking it on low for 8 hours makes this roast perfectly tender and juicy.  But if you don’t have the full 8 hours, you can quicken the time a bit and when you set the crock pot temp hi.  It cuts the time to about 4-6 hours.

Here is the recipe for my Slow Cooker Honey BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders!! Enjoy!

Instructions
  1. Place one chopped onion in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the roast on top. Then set the remaining chopped onion on top. Pour the ginger ale over the roast.
  2. Cook on low setting of slow cooker for 8 hours. The internal temperature of pork roast should be between 190º F and 205º F and the meat should easily pull apart with a fork. Remove from slow cooker and allow to rest about 5-10 minutes.
  3. Pour in the honey and BBQ sauce. Then, slice or pull for serving, basting with pan juices from slow cooker.
  4. Place on slider buns and serve warm. We like them with pickles and extra BBQ sauce.
